15th Annual Congressional Job Fair In Alabama Comes In August

The event has been happening for 15 years, and this year it comes to Selma, Alabama. It's the Congressional Job Fair hosted by Congresswoman Terri Sewell. Each year, according to Sewell, multiple lives are changed. The goal is to get people plugged into a career and not just a job.

The job fair event will be held on August 6th from 10 am until 2 pm at Wallace Community College on Earl Goodwin Parkway in Selma. The event will bring together employers from across Alabama and several industries. The industries are diverse, and they include:

Automotive, Restaurant and Food Management, Transportation, Construction, Hospitality and Retail, Health Services, Utilities and Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Production, Staffing Agencies, Government Agencies, and Law Enforcement Agencies.
