"STRANGER THINGS" is one of my all-time favorite shows. It can be very, very fascinating in many cases. Yet, this time, I can honestly say that I have been left speechless.

No offense to the cat-lovers, but we are especially fond of dogs. It is simply man's BEST friend. Your wife may abandon you. Your friends may abandon you. Even family can leave you high and dry. That little ball of fur (or big ball in some cases) will always be there for you.

Earlier this week, I had lunch at a new restaurant called Cajun Cafe in Eutaw, Alabama. The story of this new hot spot is really unique. The owner of Cajun Cafe is a former Gulf Coast shrimp boat captain. I would say that makes her pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the freshest seafood.

Watching the video makes my heart sink. How can anyone do that on purpose? I have never seen anything quite like this and maybe you have not seen it.

The venom from these eight legged creatures is extremely fatal, according to Alabama arachnologists. Did you know that 5 of these deadly spiders reside here in Alabama?

This sounds like a joke. However, it appears to be 100% real. I love how this stuff makes ALL of Alabama look to folks around the USA. It seems pretty dang silly.

Don't get me started on a dozen eggs. Thank God, Alabama, happens to be home to two of the "most affordable grocery stores in America". Yes, of course, you can find a bunch of supposed "hacks" to save some money on your food bills.

We got into a discussion this morning, on the Steve & DC Show on 95.3 The Bear/Tuscaloosa, Alabama, all about the mysterious, weird, strange, rare and unusual. I love those things that are mysterious, weird, unusual and especially the RARE things we're "not allowed" or supposed to know them or see them.

Scammers are having a field day right now. These are all very legit scams (as odd as that sounds) being forced on all of us. We reported earlier today the details of a warning from the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office about a scam being used in recent days. Now comes a scary warning for everyone who uses iPhones or Apple devices.

The theory was that those big stores were insured and it didn't really matter if they got hit for a couple of million in stolen goods. Flash forward to today and this is not how most companies seem to look at theft. They lose way too much money to ignore it any longer.
