I was born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida and graduated from Ely High School. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida where I am a life member of the alumni association. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences and a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University. My father Bud always preached to “never stop learning” and to that end, I am currently a graduate student at Queens University of Charlotte with the Masters of Communication at the Knight School of Communication. My plan is to utilize this Master’s program to advance my radio stations all while reaching towards my long-term goal to teach communications at the collegiate level. I have locked down the radio field with over 27 years of experience and have worked in Florida, Alabama, and South & North Carolina. In 2018, I was was named by Radio Ink as one of the best program directors in radio. I am currently the Assistant Operations Manager for Townsquare Media, the Brand Manager for 105.1 The Block, and Afternoon Drive personality for 92.9 WTUG. The “highpoint” of my career is when I rode Disney World’s Splash Mountain for 48 hours to raise over 10 thousand dollars for the Red Cross. In my free time, I enjoy adding to my purse collection, oil painting, chasing local weather, and cheering on my favorite football teams.
