The website www.degreechoices.com has published the 27 most dangerous college campuses in America. Data was provided by the US Department Of Education.

Unfortunately, 60% of the total campus violent crimes involved sexual assault.

The FBI defines violent crimes as Rape, Murder, Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.

University Of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

One Alabama college, Auburn University, ranked #14 on the Most Dangerous list. A total of 100 violent crimes were reported at Auburn,

The University of Alabama ranked #17 on the dangerous list. That is a better ranking than Auburn, and nowhere near the top ten. So that is a positive thing in this case. Plus, I know how seriously the UA police and security forces take safety and I would send my child to school at UA without hesitation.
