How One Lawyer Is Helping Fight Food Insecurity In West Alabama

I don’t need to tell most folks about the situation we are in, with the government shutdown impacting homes and families facing food insecurity.

With no word on when this shutdown will end, this could not come at a more critical time for Alabama and West Alabama.

This time, the Thanksgiving dinner giveaway will take place in Eutaw, Alabama.

Now, this generosity once again comes from West Alabama attorney Steven Mezrano.

Mezrano has been doing this at the holidays for nearly a decade, and it comes straight from his big heart.

"I love this community and it is so important to give back to the great people of West Alabama, especially at a time when things are uncertain and anxiety is high", said Mezrano.

Thursday, November 13th, from 12 noon until 2 pm, Mezrano and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa will give away 100 $50 gift cards from Piggly Wiggly.

Come early and be ready to claim your Thanksgiving gift cards. The official location is Bayou Blue Cajun Bistro in downtown Eutaw, Alabama.
