Alabama Woman To Compete For $25,000 On Food Network
It's hard to believe that this will be the first time anyone from Alabama will appear on the Holiday Baking Championship on the Food Network.

The popular show has never featured a contestant from Alabama. Nobody can hold a candle to Alabama when it comes to the kitchen.
Finally, we have a contestant from Alabama competing to win the $25,000 prize this holiday season.
It's definitely intense, and there is no room for error on the show.
According to a post on This Is Alabama, Jeanna Barnes, owner of bSweet Dessert Boutique in Troy, Alabama, will be facing off against eleven other bakers for the grand prize.
The show is all about creating cakes, cookies, and other sweet things, and as the owner of a popular dessert shop, Barnes should feel right at home.
The show typically airs from late November through late December on the Food Network.
The competition began in 2014 and was an instant holiday hit for the network.
It's even led to multiple spin-off shows such as Spring Baking Championship, Halloween Baking Championship, and Kids Baking Championship.
Each episode of the Holiday edition, featuring the first contestant from Alabama, has two rounds. The first round usually requires contestants to create a dish centered on a holiday theme.
The second round is more intense and usually requires a larger production than the first.
The judges are typically a combination of celebs and culinary stars.
