In light of recent events in our country, I pray that we begin to revive some of the values of the past.

I hear all this talk about movements. Well, you know, we could use a kindness movement in Alabama and let it spread from here. That’s just fine.
Let’s start with the last time someone sincerely thanked you.
When was that? Did they tell you in person or send you a note or a card in the mail whatever method they chose I bet it felt good.
You know a big thank you makes you feel good and blessed by another so why not do this to someone today?
We’ll give you a few examples:
1- A teacher: Whether your own or one of your children’s teachers, they put in so much effort to educate your child, so tell them thanks, especially those special teachers
2-A parent: There are so many reasons that could apply here, but I know for me. I’m grateful for parents who raised me in a Godly home and who believe in Jesus Christ. It forms everything in my life.
3-your spouse: Of all the people in your circle. This is the one who puts up with you the most. Perhaps I am just thinking of what I know my parents have endured and forgiven over the years.
4-somebody at random: Maybe it’s the cashier at the grocery store, or the person taking your order at the drive-through, or the lady in the dollar store, but whoever you encounter randomly, I can guarantee they never get enough thanks.
5-your local law enforcement or local firefighters: If you see someone in a military uniform, please take a moment to thank them.
Those are just a few ideas that I believe could make someone’s day and maybe spread a little kindness across West Alabama.
