Former University of Alabama and Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Bob Baumhower is joining forces with Kim Bokamper to celebrate The University of Alabama’s BCS Championship game in Miami. They'll call it The Alabama Gulf Seafood Tailgate Party. With over 500 pounds of shrimp and gumbo. It will be held Saturday at Bokamper’s Sports Bar and Grill in Miramar, Fl and will benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I  had the chance to speak with Bob this morning from South Beach and things are cranking up in Miami. According to Baumhower, "Things are starting to come together. The Alabama fans are starting to get here in much bigger numbers now."

Bob has teamed with Kim BoKamper and Alabama Gulf Seafood to co-host the Alabama Gulf Seafood Tailgate Party. "I think everybody recognizes that this is the game of the century and they're exited to have it here in Miami South Florida."

Bob is excited to be able to bring some connections together to help the St. Jude Research Hospital. "It all benefits St. Jude Research Hospital which was started by Danny Thomas, who was one of the co-founders of the Miami Dolphins, so a great connection here with St. Jude, Miami Dolphins and Alabama and Notre Dame and all of the above. We are tying it all together with Alabama Seafood. This is something that Chris Blankenship of the Alabama Seafood Commission and Brian Jones from Alabama Tourism have supported and we're excited. It should be a super time"

If you are in Miami or headed that way, tell a friend about this event. If you are like me and will be watching the BSC Game from the couch,  follow Bob's tweets @BobBaumhower
to keep up with the action. Roll Tide!
