Lowest Gas Prices In Tuscaloosa County Update
Supply issues.
I could go the rest of my life without hearing those two words ever again.

However, supply issues are part of why fuel prices are surging again in Alabama. Prices are going up here and across the country. Most experts blame global supply disruptions. The disruptions could have a greater negative impact on the entire global economy.

COULD WE PLEASE GET THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ OPENED AGAIN SOMETIME THIS DECADE????? It was open and flowing just fine before the "war on Iran" started.
Well, it's hard not to point at President Donald Trump. He's in charge right now as prices keep rising.
You can blame the conflict in Iran for many of the global disruptions. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has been the biggest issue, causing problems worldwide.
Gas prices do go up in the Summer most years. Most of the time, that is a direct result of the summer vacation season and increased travel. This is not a seasonal increase. Economists say that fuel prices are likely to keep rising in 2026. The reason? The flow has yet to return to normal.
The United States is one of the world's largest oil producers, yet most of us are feeling the pinch. The problem is that even though we produce a lot of oil, we don't control the prices. Rising gas prices contribute to rising inflation.
