A&M's starting quarterback Conner Weigman will “likely” miss the next 2 to 4 weeks, as reported by Aggies Today via their X account (formerly known as Twitter).

However, Aggie fans were encouraged by Head Coach Jimbo Fisher in his weekly press conference. As reported by Fan Nation, Fisher said Weigman’s condition was listed as “day-to-day” after suffering a lower-leg injury.

The Aggies will play the Arkansas Razorbacks this Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Now, the big question is if Conner Weigman is unavailable in October when Alabama comes to town, what effect will that have on the game?

Conner has over 900 yards passing so far this season. The backup quarterback, Max Johnson, has over 200 passing yards thus far. Fans will have to wait until the first Saturday in October to find out, but either way, it's setting up to be a massive game between these two programs.

Alabama leads the series with an overall record of 12-3. The last time Texas A&M defeated the Tide was in 2021 at Kyle Field. The last time the Aggies won at Bryant-Denny Stadium was in 2012.
