
Pickleball Grows in Tuscaloosa with New PARA Courts Opening
As one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, pickleball continues to bring communities together with its fun, social, and active gameplay. The newest Tuscaloosa Park and Recreation Authority pickleball courts will be a much-anticipated and exciting addition to the community.

The City of Tuscaloosa will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Northridge Pickleball Courts on Thursday, October 30, at 9 a.m., located at 4205 Northridge Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL 35406.
In attendance will be the City of Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox, District 3 City Councilor Norman Crow, and Tuscaloosa Park and Recreation Authority Executive Director Brian Davis.
According to the press release, “The public is invited to join the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.”
