The victim in this case also appeared in front of Judge Contiguglia on Friday and asked the court to dismiss the case against Jeudy. She went on to tell the judge that she never felt threatened by Jeudy but instead called the authorities to "monitor the situation" and to "keep-the-peace" between the two parties.

According to the arrest affidavit, Jeudy put the woman's wallet, baby formula, and their 1-month-old child's medical paperwork in his car and locked it. He said he took those actions because the woman had taken one of his phones and not given it back.

Judge Contiguglia did not dismiss the case against Jeudy, despite the victim's wishes. Contiguglia upheld the mandatory protection order on Jeudy but the victim did not request a no-contact order.

The attorney for Jeudy stated that he should not have been arrested or incarcerated. Jeudy is due to appear in court on May 31.
