With the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy becomes the second wide receiver drafted behind his Alabama teammate Henry Ruggs III. Jeudy and Ruggs III will now both play in the AFC West against one another.

The Broncos selected Jeudy, widely considered the best route runner in the NFL Draft, with their first pick after transitioning to fomer Missouri quarterback Drew Lock as a first year starter last season. Jeudy will provide Lock an instant number one target in the Mile High City. He will join Courtland Sutton, Deasean Hamilton and Noah Fant to create a dynamic passing attack for the second-year quarterback.

Jeudy was knocked in the pre-draft process for an apparent knee injury from 2018. It was reported some teams removed the Alabama receiver from their first round entirely. The Broncos took advantage of a slight slide for the Crimson Tide receiver and got an elite talent.

Jeudy finished his Alabama career with 159 receptions, 2,742 yards and 26 touchdowns. He won the Biletnikoff award in 2018 as the nation's best wide receiver. Last season's number 15 pick was Dwayne Haskins to the Washington Redskins. Haskins signed a four-year $14.4 million contract, Jeudy's contract will be similar with the Broncos.
