An extremely respected and awarded Contemporary Christian music artist will be live in Tuscaloosa this Saturday night.

Tuscaloosa's new Christian music station, 101.7 The River, is proud to welcome:

David Phelps, winner of multiple Grammy and Dove Awards, will be in concert at the Historic Bama Theater, 600 Greensboro Avenue, at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by using the link at the bottom.

Phelps is known in the Christian music industry simply as "The Voice" due to his masterful vocal range, an unparalleled range extending three octaves.

Phelps is from Texas and attended Baylor University. For almost two decades, David Phelps was a member of the legendary CCM act, The Gaither Vocal Group, a creation of gospel music Hall of Famer Bill Gaither.

It was during that run that Phelps won two Grammy Awards and dozens of Dove Awards.

Many of his songs have been featured in television and film projects in addition to sports broadcasts aired nationally.

The Dove Award-winning Male Vocalist Of The Year will be front and center at the Historic Bama Theater this weekend, as part of his Speak Of Love tour.
