Ruggs lawyers are arguing that turning over medical records are a violation of "doctor-patient privilege".

In a just-released story in the Daily Mail, the defense attorneys claim that future patients would be afraid to talk openly with doctors if that could be used against them in legal proceedings.

Ruggs attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld argue that providing his medical records would "allow his health care providers to testify during pretrial conferences about his medical condition after the crash".

This latest motion comes only a few days after Ruggs lawyers filed a different motion saying firefighters, who responded to the crash, moved and reacted "slowly" to the vehicle on fire with victim Tina Tintor inside.

Clark County spokesman Erik Pappa defended his first responders and stated that the blaze was too intense and too advanced for anyone to survive.

However, a witness has come forward claiming that Tintor was still alive for several minutes after Henry Ruggs vehicle crashed into her stationary vehicle at over 120 miles per hour.

You may remember this contributor, several times, predicting that Henry Ruggs lawyers would be pulling every legal trick available to cast doubt on the prosecutions case.

These early motions, I believe, are just the beginning and we haven't seen anything yet.

I personally would not think it wise to attack first responders as a defense for my client, but I'm not an extremely high-priced lawyer.

If I spoke for the firefighters, I might remind his lawyers that had Henry Ruggs NOT slammed into the vehicle at OVER 120 miles per hour, it would not have burst into flames to begin with.

That's just my view for now.
