That's what I'm thinking tonight after another horrible shooting at an elementary school. The dust has not settled yet, and as of press time we know that 19 children were murdered this afternoon. School only has two days left.
It has been chaos down at Robb Elementary, so the numbers could rise overnight.
Mayor Walt Maddox is mad. It should make everyone in Tuscaloosa mad. Especially when it's so repetitive. Again and again, the same offenders are commiting violent acts and after getting bailed out, they do it again.
THIS is the worst story I have ever reported to the public. Two parents have been indicted on charges of second-degree murder of their daughter.
That, in itself, is bad enough. However, Clay and Sheila Fletcher have been booked into a Louisiana jail after their daughter was found dead after sitting on a sofa for OVER 12 years.
I KNEW IT!
We all did. The recent saga in North Alabama with Vicky White, the jailer, and Casey White, the murderer, has captivated lots of us.
From the word GO, it was obvious what was happening. A female guard/jail official and a male inmate not showing up for court or doctors appointments.
PORCH PIRATES. What a name. Is that what you would want to be called? Apparently, more and more of them have been striking in West Alabama and Alabama in 2021/2022. It appears to be at an all-time high in Alabama, according to ALEA. In fact, folks have been offering "tips" on how to protect your merch from Alabama porch pirates.
Who knew?
Some of the most notorious and dangerous criminals in American history were first experienced right here in Alabama.
This is fascinating, for those of us that have lived here for many years and had no idea some of these dangerous fools were from or have lived in Tuscaloosa, Jasper and Birmingham!
If you have ever walked in a Starbucks in the morning hours, you know it is always jam-packed. That was no different last week at a Starbucks in Florida, right down the street from a resort full of Spring Break vacationers.
Young ladies and young men from schools all over the country. Yes, that includes right here in Alabama.
A popular Tuscaloosa store is getting lots of attention for the way they handle shoplifters in their store. I don't recall ever, in my 47 years, seeing a retailer do anything like this in the actual business.
Other than the mini newspaper I see in Tuscaloosa/West Alabama gas stations, with mugshots of folks arrested in the last few weeks.
