The University of Alabama continues to be one of the premier destinations in the U.S to coach.

Twelve coaches’ contracts are up for approval. As reported by AL.com, all 12 coaches - including eight head coaches - are expected to be approved by the board.

Alabama’s women’s basketball coach Kristi Curry has had her contract extended until 2025.

Softball coach Patrick Murphy signed through 2026 with a pay scale between $475,000 and $515,000. His deal was signed in 2021, according to AL.com.

Coach Murphy has been with the University of Alabama for over 20 years in total.

Other head coaches getting new deals or extensions include Men’s golf coach Jay Seawell, Swimming coach Margo Geer and Track and field coach Dan Waters.

AL.com also reported that Women’s tennis coach Jonatan Berhane is already expected to get a new contract since getting hired in April.

AL.com also noted that athletic trainer Jeff Allen is set up in his deal to have a $10,000 increase for the next three years. Bama’s men’s basketball assistants Austin Claunch and Ryan Pannone, along with baseball assistant coach Jason Jackson, are also expected to have their deals approved.
