West Alabama ‘Feels Like’ Guide: Prolonged Cold & Wind Chill
Alabamians will notice a definite temperature change. In some locations, it can be nearly a 25-degree difference from yesterday.
It’s hard to complain about the cold weather when millions of Americans have faced blizzard conditions and winter storm warnings.
The Weather Channel said, "Kansas City picked up 11 inches, making it the heaviest snowstorm since February 1993. Topeka, Kansas, saw its fourth-largest two-day snowfall with a total of 14.1 inches."
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, “Cold weather will be in place for much of this week.”
“A few snow flurries are possible in the cold air, but there will be no impact,” said James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist.
