So, last night when I arrived home after voting, my fiance immediately asked me, "How'd it go? WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR?"

This was my first time voting in the presidential election (not the first time I was eligible, but 4 years ago I was in the middle of a move) ... ANYWAY ... with it being my first time, I felt proud of myself and put a lot of thought into my voting. For some reason, I also wanted to keep it personal. So I responded to my future husband, "It's a secret, I'm not telling you." He politely suggested, "It's not a secret from your spouse!" JOKINGLY, I said, "We aren't married until June, so I'll tell you then!" (LOL)

Long story short, I ended up telling him who I voted for and it wasn't a big deal. Then, Wednesday morning, we received a call into the show from a guy who found out his wife voted for the "OTHER" candidate ... "other" meaning opposite of him. The man said, "I had no idea her views were completely opposite to my own.  She said she didn't want to get into a fight about politics, she just wanted me to know she wasn't hiding anything from me by voting for someone I absolutely can't stand."

So I got to thinking, WHAT DO FOLKS THINK ABOUT THIS? DO YOU TELL YOUR SPOUSE WHO YOU VOTE FOR? IS IT THEIR BUSINESS?
