West Alabama residents have been soaking up the holiday magic at Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail, now open until January 1, 2026, in Downtown Tuscaloosa. Government Plaza has been transformed with over 200 decorated trees from local businesses and organizations.

This past weekend, visitors enjoyed two free events along the Trail. Saturday, December 6, was Suit Up with Santa, and Sunday, December 7, was the Pet Palooza.

Holiday Market Brings Festive Fun to the Tinsel Trail

The next event on the holiday calendar is the Holiday Market happening Saturday, December 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can browse local vendors and shop for unique gifts, enter raffles for exciting prizes, and take in the festive sights with a stroll along the Tinsel Trail. It’s an excellent way for families and friends to enjoy the holiday spirit together.
