The violator was found to have employed 149 children under 16 who worked longer than federal law allows.

The Department of Labor investigations into several Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger locations in Alabama found child labor violations, per www.alareporter.com

Mark Houghton operator of the franchise had violations at 7 Freddy’s locations. Houghton was fined $119,029 in penalties to settle the violation.
The 315 15th Street Freddy’s location in Tuscaloosa was included as a labor law violator. Also included were Birmingham, Helena, & Pell City locations.
