Tim McGraw Makes Country Music History
Congratulations to Tim McGraw, who has made history this week by becoming the first solo artist to have three singles simultaneously featured in the Top 15 on the Mediabase Country singles chart.
McGraw makes an appearance on both Big & Rich's "Lovin' Lately" and Florida Georgia Line's "May We All" in addition to his own current single, "How I'll Always Be."
"Lovin' Lately" marks the 59th time the 49-year-old country star has been a part of the Top 10, with "May We All" looking to be his 60th. That is a lot of time spent in that part of the charts.
McGraw has been making several headlines lately; in addition to this record-breaking feat, he recently announced that he will be joining his wife Faith Hill for the 2017 Soul2Soul Tour.
"We have the best fans in the world, who have been with us through our entire journey and we are so excited to celebrate with them by going back on the road and showcasing an exciting new show,” Hill and McGraw share in a press release. “It’s always great when we get to work together and it’s been a while since we got to do that.”
McGraw is also set to perform at the 50th Annual CMA Awards on Nov. 2. During the award show, the "How I'll Always Be" singer will be up for both Single and Song of the year for his smash hit "Humble and Kind," and he's also nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year.
