Threats Overview

The National Weather Service in Birmingham said the main concerns with this incoming weather system are “damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size.”

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said, “With very limited dynamics and weak wind fields, the overall threat is low. A few of the stronger storms could produce gusty winds and some small hail. There is no risk of a tornado.”
