In Alabama, we can have severe weather all year long. However, there are peak months for our area which are March, April, and November. It is always best to be prepared for our Alabama weather.

We are monitoring the possibility of a severe weather threat on Wednesday. It is very early in the forecasting process but I always like to give an ample heads up. James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that a “vigorous spring system will bring rain and thunderstorms back to the state Wednesday night into Thursday morning. SPC has western counties of Alabama in a severe weather risk in their "Day 6" outlook for this event.”
