It's time for my mid-week look at 6 things happening in our world today. I'll spotlight the cold weather tonight, crazy baby names, 'The Voice', and the grand re-opening of Schlotzsky's Deli on 15th Street!

FORECAST: Lows down into the upper-20s overnight with highs reaching the mid to upper-60s tomorrow afternoon under clear skies.

ALABAMA: Schlotzsky's on 15th Street is back open! The original building was destroyed by the April 27th tornado. The grand re-opening takes place today at 3pm with a ribbon cutting and tons of freebies! They’re giving away two iPads, two 40 inch TVs, and the first 100 customers who buy a CinnaPack of Cinnabon rolls free Schlotzsky's for a year!

NATIONAL: I think the world has run out of baby names with the addition of Hashtag Jameson. Yes, I said Hashtag, like #. The news comes direct from the Facebook post of a family member. Maybe the parents might benefit from reading this article, 10 Ways Your Baby's Name Could Ruin His Life. This nation’s addiction with Twitter has apparently gone too far.

SPORTS: The Alabama men’s basketball team is keeping up the winning traditions of the university and are currently 6-0 overall so far this season with last night’s win against Lamar. They’ll take to the court again Saturday in Cincinnati with tip-off set for 2pm. The women’s basketball team is holding strong as well with a 5-0 overall record this season.

ENTERTAINMENT: Christina Aguilera's final contestant Dez Duron was removed during last night's episode of 'The Voice.' The contestants advancing to the top 6 are: Nicholas David and Trevin Hunte from Team Ceelo, Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott representing Team Blake, and Team Adam has Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown remaining. GO TEAM BLAKE!

MUSIC: Scotty McCreery raised $5,000 with his ‘Beacon Theatre Benefit for Hurricane Sandy Relief’ concert, which took place on Friday. A portion of ticket sales for the event was donated to disaster relief in New Jersey and New York.
