The mayor also shared information about Monday’s Topping Out ceremony to celebrate the last beam being placed at the top of the Saban Center. The Monday ceremony will feature Mayor Maddox alongside Nick Saban, Miss Terry Saban, and Stone Construction CEO Justin Drummond as they celebrate the rapid progress on the $120 million STEM learning center.

Maddox also discussed plans on expanding downtown Tuscaloosa. The mayor explained and discussed the multimillion-dollar plan to expand downtown sidewalks and more.
