Vols Steal Top Football Player From West Alabama
Well, they say you can’t win them all, but I personally don’t subscribe to that theory.

In sports, I want them all. It is officially hate Tennessee week, and now word comes out of Knoxville about a five-star recruit with plenty of ties to Tuscaloosa.
However, he is not playing for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
He is playing for the Tennessee Vols. OUCH! That hurts.
He happens to be one of their best defensive players, or at least, he has performed that way of late.
Sophomore defensive player Jordan Ross was interviewed this week ahead of the game and shared some interesting thoughts on his decision to play for Tennessee, according to AtoZ Sports.
Ross was one of the top 10 overall recruits in the 2024 class, according to 24 seven Sports, and during his interview, his background became a topic.
Ross grew up in Birmingham, and that is a little too close to home.
He told the host of the Food City Locker Room that the Tide staff did not recruit him very well.
WHAT?!?!
We didn't recruit a five-star player in our backyard "very well"????
How is it possible that someone playing football less than an hour away from the Tuscaloosa campus would go under the radar?
I feel like this is a big deal. Who is ultimately responsible for a failure of this magnitude?
Ross has been playing well of late and had one and a half sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in the last game for the Vols.
