Is Relief On The Way For Tuscaloosa Bar Owners?
West Alabama Chamber of Commerce President Jim Page told the 953 Bear Steve Shannon Morning Show that the City Council could vote as early as Tuesday night on a bar relief plan.
The plan would provide up to $400,000 in relief to about 30 bars & lounges closed for two weeks by the mayor’s executive order.
Page said details on who gets relief and more still had to be worked out. He said if approved money would get to the bar owners quickly.
