How Froot Loops® Made Scott Shepherd’s Day

On the show this morning, we had a really nice surprise. We were talking about how Froot Loops® all tasted the same even though they were different colors. It made me want a bowl pretty bad. I mentioned it on air and guess what?

A kind and generous Madison and Shepherd listener actually took the time to stop by a store and picked up a box of Froot Loops®, a half gallon of milk and bowls and spoons and delivered them to our studios on Skyland Blvd! I had not had breakfast and when our studio door opened to this surprise my eyes watered a little.

I was like a kid in a candy store when I tore open the box and filled the plastic bowl to the top. Who cares if they taste the same? They are one of my favorite cereals. I looked like the Tasmanian Devil fixing my bowl!  We'll have a nice breakfast in studio now at least for a week or so! I wanted to say thanks to the person who went to all this trouble! This made my morning.
