Today, Sunday, May 25, the Storm Prediction Center has flagged Alabama with a low to medium risk (levels 1 and 2 out of 5) for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

Monday and Tuesday Risk Areas for West Alabama
In addition, there's also a low chance (level 1 of 5) for severe storms on Monday and Tuesday afternoons and evenings for West Alabama communities.
Timeframe
For the next several days, the threats will mostly occur in the afternoon and last through the evenings.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said, “In this pattern, it is impossible to give start/stop times of rain for any given point. Just know if you have an outdoor event, a shower or storm is possible at any hour of the day or night.”

Damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter-size are the main threats for the upcoming days.
