FuelAL: Tuscaloosa Takes Aim At Keeping College Talent Here

Tuscaloosa has been selected as a host community for FuelAL, a statewide initiative to attract and keep young talent.

The program connects college interns and students in professional development, networking, and community experience, designed to showcase West Alabama as an ideal place to build both a career and life after graduation.

The FuelAL initiative is led by the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama and others.

Tuscaloosa joins 10 other host communities, engaging more than 1000 students.

Fuel AL: Tuscaloosa is open to students and interns from any college.

The kickoff event takes place in early June 2026.
