Former Miss Tuscaloosa Works to Feed the Hungry [VIDEO]

September is hunger action month and former Miss Tuscaloosa Cassidy Jo Jacks is working to use her platform to increase awareness about this epidemic.

Cassidy stopped by the Steve Shannon Morning Show with Simone Eli to share her story and vision.

Cassidy is a senior at the University of Alabama, double majoring in Public Relations and Communication Studies. She competes in the Miss Alabama/Miss America Pageant system to help pay for her education.

Cassidy is passionate about helping those who suffer from hunger and would like to team up with you to help make a difference in the lives of others.
