Crimson Tide Baseball Commit Named Michigan’s 2023 Mr. Baseball
The Mindset of Alabama athletics is never to rebuild; instead, it has been to reload, and that’s just what the Crimson Tide baseball program did by getting a commitment from High school star Parker Picot.
As reported by mlive.com, Parker was voted as the 2023 Mr. Baseball. The title of Mr. Baseball is voted on and awarded by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association. Parker is the first player from Rochester Adams High School to receive the award.
Mlive reported that Picot as a pitcher finished his senior season with an era of 1.88 in over 48 innings pitched. Parker only gave up 13 earned runs all season striking out over 80 batters. Parker is currently playing summer ball in preparation for his time at “the Joe.”
