This past Saturday, the then-undefeated Ole Miss Rebels were looking for their fourth win of the season, this time on the road over a Crimson Tide team struggling offensively. The first half of the game looked like Ole Miss had a real shot, with the Crimson Tide only scoring two field goals in the first two quarters of play.

However, the Alabama offense made adjustments at halftime and out-scored the Rebels 18 to 3 in the second half of play. The Tide finished the game with a total of 225 yards passing and rushed for 131 yards.

Jace McClellan made up 105 yards of that rushing total.

The defense had some noteworthy moments as well.

Dallas Turner had two sacks, and both Tim Smith and Chris Braswell contributed with 1.5 sacks for a total of five on the day. The Tide closed the game out with a 24-10 victory over the Rebels.

Lane Kiffin, who is no stranger to social media, took to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) after losing again to his former boss Nick Saban.

One now-deleted message read, "Sorry to let you guys down."

"We blew that one!!," Kiffin continued. "Came to win and didn’t get it done. Put it on me not our players @OleMissFB also give credit @AlabamaFTBL played really hard exp of defense. I will miss this match up 👎"

Kiffin kept it classy with his comments, giving credit to the Crimson Tide for playing hard.
