Celebrities Are in Meltdown Mode Over Trump’s Surprise Success
Leading up to election day, many celebrities said they were on the first plane out of the country if Donald Trump was elected president. Well - hopefully they have a plane, train or automobile ready because in just over 70 days, Trump will make the move to the White House and the meltdown has begun.
Here are a few highlights of celebs absolutely losing their minds:
1. Alyssa Milano: "Is it possible that this country is more sexist than racist? May God help us all." And Patton Oswalt: "I've learned America is WAAAAAAY more sexist than it is racist. And it's pretty [effing] racist."
Patton also Tweeted: "Listening to the Fox News pundits talking about a Trump presidency. And even they sound terrified."
2. James Corden: "Brexit feelings."
3. "Frozen" star Josh Gad: "Looking for a great realtor in Canada." And "Pitch Perfect" star Brittany Snow: "Flights to Canada are really cheap."
4. British singer Lily Allen: "Canada needs to think about building a wall right now."
5. Kal Penn: "Stop it with the moving to Canada [crap]. Double down on the country we love . . . we have to get MORE involved not less."
6. "Modern Family" star Jesse Tyler Ferguson: "I'm taking tonight to grieve for minorities, women, immigrants, Muslims and the LGBTQ community, but tomorrow I'm waking up ready to fight."
7. Will Arnett: "How do we explain this to future generations of women? And minorities? #WeShouldBeAshamedOfOurselves."
8. Andy Cohen: "Oh wait, this is rigged, right??"
9. "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane: "How's that Gary Johnson protest vote treating you right now?"
10. 85-year-old Dan Rather may not have made it through the night. Quote, "The difference between 'too close to call' and 'too early to call' is the difference between looking for a Xanax and looking for a beer."
11. Ariana Grande: "Well, this is utterly terrifying."
12. Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Taran Killam Tweeted, "Rural = stupid." Naturally, that upset some people, so he apologized, sort of. He said, "Sorry, sorry, sorry. Certainly a flippant comment made in jest. Allow me to be sincerely clear: Vote for Trump = I think you're stupid."
