Senator at the moment, but likely our next Alabama governor, is saying things today that will elicit a strong reaction from his democratic opponents.

Senator/Coach Tommy Tuberville spoke candidly with 95.3 The Bear’s Steve & DC Show about a variety of hot topics, including his recent controversial take on foreign students in the United States.

Tuberville has introduced a bill to ban Chinese and Iranian students from studying in the United States.  Coach Tuberville said any country that preaches hatred for the US should not be sending students to study here.

Coach Tuberville said that President Trump has many oars in the water, trying to end wars, etc, but that he hopes there will soon be action to regulate NIL and the transfer portal in college football. Tuberville hopes there will be efforts undertaken before December.

The gubernatorial candidate shared his thoughts after speaking in Alabama’s Wiregrass region.

Tuberville was planning a return to Washington to speak with President Trump before the president travels to Alaska to meet with Vladimir Putin later this week.
