I don't know, just put it in your corn cob pipe and smoke it! I don't care what you do with it.

We Alabamians take a lot of you-know-what on a multitude of topics.

Alabama is #1 in this category, which makes us look awful, or we're dead last in that category, which makes us look even worse.

Only Mississippi keeps us out of the absolute last place, bottom of the barrel in most life statistics.

THIS TIME, WE ARE #1 AND IT'S WORTH HOLDING OUR HEADS UP HIGH

Alabama worked MORE hours than just about every cotton-pickin' state in the union.

This is all from a new study commissioned by Qualtrics Data Company.

They study folks in all states and analyze the data to compile their list.

The report shows that Alabama workers are on the job for an average of 474 minutes each day.

That is just a hair under 8 hours flat.

In fact, Alabama spends 24% of each year at work or working.

This puts us on top of the list of hardest working states in the USA.

The other hard-working states in the USA are Utah, North Carolina, Colorado, and Mississippi.

I was a little bummed that Mississippi was in the Top 5 with us because we never get on any list without MISSISSIPPI RIGHT NEXT TO US!

C'mon man.

What about the laziest, non-working states?

Here we go:

Montana

Deleware

Alaska

Vermont

North Dakota

WOW! NOTICE ANYTHING UNUSUAL?

Not one of the "lazy" states is in the South.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, isn't that interesting?
