Accidental Shooting Involving 2 Tuscaloosa Teenagers
Tuscaloosa Police say a 15 year old was accidentally shot by a 14 year old teenager while showing his gun Sunday night. The teen, 14, found a gun earlier in the week and was showing it to a friend, 15, said Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit assistant commander Capt. Kip Hart.
According to the Tuscaloosa News, the boys were in a bedroom at a home in the 3200 block of 23rd Street around 8 p.m. Police believe there is no indication that the 15-year-old intentionally shot the victim. The 15 year old was treated at DCH Regional Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
