West Alabama's WVUA Hires New Executive

Tuscaloosa-based WVUA 23 News announced a new leader in the news department of its operation.

The new News Director is Dana Rosengard, who brings a wealth of experience as a broadcaster.

Rosengard will be tasked with overseeing the staff, made up of seasoned veterans and college students, producing multiple daily newscasts.

Rosengard has experience in broadcasting with stints in Greenville, Mississippi, Hartford, Connecticut, as well as time spent in major cities like Boston.

He also has experience as an educator in multiple cities.

Rosengard will take on his new role in August.
