Who Gives ‘Best Bama Hating Blogger’ Awards?

Our Regional Operations Manager, Donovan Short has a cool job. He gets to visit lots of radio markets. That means he gets to experience the culture of many cities including a few in the SEC. He posted something on Facebook that I had to share about his recent visit to our Shreveport, LA market. Hint: lots of Bama haters there.

As an Alabama fan, I am looking forward to A-Day on April 19th then the first game Aug 30th against West Virginia, which will take place in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game for the second straight year. We play LSU on Nov 8th in Baton Rouge. We must win that game. I am an LSU hater, but I have never won an AWARD for it.

Back to Donovan;  He snapped a photo of a "Certificate of Achievement Award"  to the "Best Bama Hating Blogger", complete with the official signature of the Digital Managing Editor for the Shreveport market.  The certificate was stuck to a wall in the restroom!

I am curious what blog post(s) the award recipient, Chris Evans, the Sports Director of 1130 The Tiger in Shreveport penned to even be considered for such an award and why it was on the restroom wall.
