I have never seen a ranking based on "fun". Define fun.

According to Webster it's something "amusing or enjoyable".

Fun means different things to different people. Wallethub looked at 65 different metrics for the list of the most fun cities in America.

As well as the LEAST fun cities.

Only ONE city in Alabama made the top 100 "fun" cities in the USA.

However, one other city in Alabama made the top 5 least expensive cities to see a movie.

Ranking 3rd on the list of top 5 cheapest cities to go to the movies is...

Montgomery, Alabama.

Categories included cities with the most/least festivals, restaurants, playgrounds and parks, fitness centers and bars.

I'm a little surprised that Tuscaloosa was missing from the bars and nightlife lists.

I've lived in several Alabama cities and T-Town has a fairly healthy nightlife even when the students are "gone" for the summer.

I have only visited once, to get on a cruise ship, so I have no idea.

I guess Atlanta is fun, but it's scary after dark.

Yes! Universal Studios is a blast and more fun than Disney.

1. Las Vegas, Nevada

LOVED IT! I was surprised at how much fun it was to visit Vegas. Incredible food.

The ONLY Alabama city to rank in the top 100 was Birmingham, Alabama at No. 57. Birmingham rated best in the "Nightlife & Parties" category placing 40th in the USA.

With a name like Rancho Cucamonga it's probably not much fun.
