West Alabama Honors The Young Leaders In Our Community
This morning, at River Market Tuscaloosa, a well-attended ceremony honoring our local young leaders was held.

As awards were handed out, each recipient also presented a check to a local nonprofit or organization of their choice.
Tuscaloosa River Market was pretty close to capacity for the award ceremony earlier today.
Most of the attendees were local leaders in both business and the community.
One item of note: Hank Poore is the youngest person ever to receive one of these awards.
Poore is only 25 years-old.
Alabama Crimson Tide gymnastics coach Ashley Johnston served as the honorary emcee for the event.
The young leaders featured:
Leah Banks from Alabama Power Company
Daniel Bradshaw from the Tuscaloosa Association of Realtors
Chelsey Henthorn from Bryant Bank
Jonna Martin of Alabama Credit Union
And as we mentioned earlier, Hank Poore from the Hank Poore Foundation.
Finally, the David Reynolds Jr. Inspiration Award was given to Andre Taylor from the University of Alabama.
The West Alabama Young Leaders Awards ceremony today was the tenth annual.
