West Alabama Public Relations Council Hand Out Awards
It was a day to honor some of our finest citizens in West Alabama, courtesy of the West Alabama chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama.
The group presented awards to select chapter members for outstanding contributions to the West Alabama community.
Some of the biggest awards include the Member Of The Year, and the winner is Ashley Williams, director of marketing and communications at the Kentucky Art Center.
The member of the year award is given to a West Alabama chapter member who has demonstrated commitment to the chapter, advanced the organization's goals and objectives, and led by example.
The much-coveted President's Award was presented to Megan York, an underwriting account executive at Alabama Public Radio.
The Andra Clary Wilson PR Practitioners Award was given to Rebecca Minder, Director, Alabama Heritage magazine.
