Deadline Looms For West Alabama Businesses Applying For Disaster Loans
Time flies this time of year, and the holidays are just around the corner.
November 25 is the deadline for all West Alabama small business owners and nonprofits to apply for a disaster loan due to the drought in Alabama.
If the drought has impacted your business, make sure you file the necessary information before the end of November.
These are low-interest federal disaster loans from the US Small Business Administration.
The counties in West Alabama include Bibb, Tuscaloosa, Greene, Hale, Pickens, Sumter, and Walker.
The loans are not available to farmers or ranchers, except for aquaculture enterprises, according to the USSBA.
If you are approved, you should start seeing money come in on the first of December.
These loans can range up to $2,000,000 with interest rates as low as 4%.
