
West Alabama Coalition Unites to Tackle Homelessness
The West Alabama Coalition for the Homeless - Continuum of Care (WACH CoC) is hosting a community engagement event where you can share your ideas on tackling homelessness.

Organizers encourage “landlords, private owners/property managers, non-profits, churches, businesses, healthcare providers, school social workers/coordinators, and community members” to attend.
The event will be held on Wednesday, March 26, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the McDonald Hughes Community Center at 3101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Breakout Sessions
Businesses: 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Landlords/Realtors/Developers: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
TPD/EMS/TCS/TCSS Social Workers/Coordinators/Healthcare Providers: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Non-Profits/Churches/Community Members: 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
The information gathered from the event will help WACH CoC develop its three-year strategic plan to combat homelessness in the Tuscaloosa City and County areas.
