Vehicle Crashes Into Captain D’s In Tuscaloosa

We are still piecing together all the facts, but witnesses tell us that a vehicle crashed into the building around 6:00 pm. Witnesses also told us that nobody appeared to be injured, including the female driver. Several diners said they were alarmed by the loud crash near their tables. Witnesses stated that a white SUV with an elderly female driving hit the building.

I was on the scene a few minutes after the crash, and it was easy to see the damage to the building's front left side.

We are still waiting for details on any charges or citations issued to the vehicle's driver. Several witnesses told me they are grateful that the crash was not more serious and that nobody inside the restaurant was hurt.
