The Alabama defense had a successful afternoon against Mercer on Saturday. The Crimson Tide was able to give some younger players experience while a few injured players got some rest.

Alabama finished the afternoon by allowing just 161 total yards of offense, forced three turnovers, and didn't allow a point against the Bears. The 56-0 win on senior day was the  defense's second shutout of the season.

After the game, linebacker Rashaan Evans talked to reporters about the performance and his final game at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Watch what he said in the video at the top of the page.
