Is Alabama QB Ty Simpson Headed To Indiana?
I am so sick of two words.

I never dreamed I would be so disgusted by two words.
TWO WORDS
What are they?
TRANSFER
PORTAL
I'm so, so, so, so sick of those two words.
It is one thing (of a few BIG ones) that is hurting my favorite sport.
I love college football. It is such a great escape from the death, destruction, and division we experience every day.
I have personally spoken with two sports media reporters (one national, one local) that I TRUST, and they have told me some alarming information.
It has to do with a relationship between a family member of our QB, Ty Simpson, and the coaching staff at Indiana.
They tell me that with QB Fernando Mendoza on track to be the #1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, they need a quarterback.
Mendoza transferred into their program last offseason, and that worked out pretty well for the Hoosiers.
I don't even want to think about the sting of having our butts kicked 38 to 3, and then they take our starting QB?
According to my sources, the coaching staff believes that Ty Simpson is "the right kind of guy" for their program.
Simpson probably enjoys the concept of actually HAVING A RUNNING GAME!
This move would not surprise me one bit.
However, I have learned that the truth is stranger than fiction.
We have quite a few players already announcing their intention to use the transfer portal.
We have a starting offensive lineman, wide receivers, and DBs in the portal at this point.
Those are just the ones I saw right before I wrote this piece.
The transfer portal is getting out of control. In case you missed it earlier, we currently have around 4,000 players in the transfer portal as of today.
That seem messed up to anybody else?
