A beloved holiday tradition sparkling in Downtown Tuscaloosa at Government Plaza, Tuscaloosa’s One Place – Tinsel Trail has been spreading cheer all season and will continue delighting visitors through January 1, 2026.

Residents and visitors have enjoyed the Tinsel Trail, featuring over 200 decorated trees by local businesses and organizations, spreading holiday cheer to all who have strolled the trail.

“The holidays may be over, but the magic of the Tinsel Trail is still lively! It’s a great way to close out the year with some family fun and holiday cheer,” said Gracie Powell, Tuscaloosa’s One Place Media Relations Manager.

The trail season has been packed with tons of great events, like the Grand Opening, Suit Up with Santa, Pet Palooza, the Holiday Market, and Family Night.

Powell said, “What a wonderful holiday season we’ve had at Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail! From photos with Santa, our new Holiday Market, the annual Family Night, and so much more in between, we’ve enjoyed seeing every smiling face and twinkling light along this year’s trail.”
