The festival that allows us all to explore our international side with German food, beer, and games.

Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest presented by UA Online is back, Saturday, September 20th, at Government Plaza.

The venue is changing in 2025 with Government Plaza being added, and more additions are being announced today.

Visit Tuscaloosa is adding the "ultimate" Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest VIP package for $75.

Exclusives like food, a private bar, and the exclusive VIP tent are reserved for people with a VIP ticket.

The tent and the restrooms are also air-conditioned if temperatures are soaring in September.

The event begins at 10 am and runs until 4 pm.

Of course, authentic German food and beer are available for all who attend, and this year the annual 5K will kick off in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa.

There will be live music, the Dachsund Dash, and a brand-new doggie costume contest at 11:15 a.m.

Entry into Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest is FREE.

Just for kids:

A KidZone with tons of games and activities designed for children will be a big part of the event in 2025.
